Welcome to the Bookish Femmes, we are a collective of Black femme-identifying folks who love all things books! We look forward to reading, holding community, and forming adult friendships based on a common interest. Whether you’re introverted, extroverted, an avid reader, or someone wanting to get more into books, this is a space for you! This collective was created to facilitate conversation, share reading recommendations, and foster connection to other Black femme-identifying people no matter where we’re located. The Bookish Femmes is a FREE platform and passion project, we have no interest in commodifying our interests – we simply want to get to know you and share our love of reading. The collective is a safe space, there will be no shaming of each other’s preferred genre, reading level, economic background, social status, or anything else.
